Co-Founder & CEO of Sunbiose and Social Entrepreneur
Born and raised in Brazil, I chose France as my home in 2008.
Trained as an aeronautical engineer, I spent the first 17 years of my career in the global aerospace industry, working on major programs such as the Airbus A380 and managing world-class suppliers including General Electric, Pratt & Whitney and Rolls-Royce. In my final years at Airbus, I served as Chief Engineer and New Program Manager for the A320 family, developping cutting edge products like the A321XLR and leading international, cross-functional teams across three continents.
Father of two young children, I gradually came to a turning point. I became increasingly concerned about the world my children — and their children — would inherit. I realised that the industrial excellence I had mastered could, and should, be redirected toward the greatest challenge of our century: building economic models that respect planetary boundaries while creating social and societal value.
In 2022, I decided to go back to school and completed a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship at Université Paris-Saclay. My intention was clear: to create 21st-century enterprises aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — companies that create economic value while fostering human development, social inclusion, environmental sustainability and resilient territories.
This path led me to meet my current co-founder and to take the biggest professional leap of my life: leaving a comfortable leadership role in a global industrial champion to create Sunbiose, a mission-driven startup designing, financing and operating renewable energy communities in France.
At Sunbiose, we enable the emergence of decentralized, local energy systems where citizens, businesses and local authorities can produce, consume and share their own green electricity. Our communities foster social connection, local democracy and local wealth creation. They reduce energy poverty, strengthen territorial sovereignty, and give people not only access to electricity — but access to power: the collective power to shape their own energy future
Sunbiose is built on a simple conviction: the energy transition will only succeed if it is inclusive, financially accessible, and genuinely beneficial to everyone. By aligning technological innovation, financial engineering and social impact, we turn this vision into a tangible reality for all — including rural territories, often overlooked yet carrying tremendous potential.
Today, my work is driven by the same engineering rigor I learned in the aerospace sector — but now dedicated to a mission that sits at the intersection of climate, society and the economy. My belief is that sustainable development is not a compromise between prosperity and responsibility. It is a pathway where economic growth, social progress and environmental stewardship reinforce each other.
This is the purpose behind Sunbiose — and the reason why I’m committed to building energy models that are resilient, fair, and designed for the generations to come.
